轻轻地，秋天最美的一页飘然而至。多少年来，无数飘泊异乡的才子佳人借着中秋的月亮倾诉思乡之情、盼望亲人团聚。苏东坡“欲乘风归去”，辛弃疾中秋寄远“问嫦娥、孤冷有愁无”，杜甫则道出了我们所有游子的共同心声：“月是故乡明”。
中秋将至，滑铁卢大学中国学生学者联谊会向全体在滑铁卢地区学习工作的海外游子们表示最诚挚的节日祝福。在中华人民共和国驻多伦多总领馆的大力支持下，滑铁卢大学中国学生学者联谊会将于９月１７日（周六）晚在UW Student Life Center举行“2005中秋联欢晚会”。晚会内容包括游戏、卡拉OK、舞会、抽奖及品尝月饼赏月等活动，奖品包括具有浓郁中国特色的十字绣等精美工艺品。届时，我们还将邀请到多伦多大学具有专业水平的学生乐队现场助兴。晚会具体安排初步如下：
6:00 - 8:30 游戏
8:30 – 11:30 卡拉OK及舞会
9:00 抽奖
10:00 领月饼赏月
晚会入场无需门票，欢迎所有在滑铁卢大学学习工作的教职员工、学生及亲属莅临参加；凭票领取月饼一个（有21种口味可供挑选）及参加抽奖。每张票一元，月饼数量有限，售完为止，欲购从速。我们的联系方式如下：

UW 2005 Chinese Mid-August Party
The UWCSSA is going to hold a Chinese Mid-August Party: 6:00pm, Sep 17, 2005; Multi-purpose Room, Student Life Center, University of Waterloo.
All kinds of games are going to be designed and held that night, through which you may have many chances to win many cool presents. As we planned, a band will be invited in that party and there will be a Kara-OK tournament and dancing event. Besides the great fun you will find, you will make a lot of new friends and meet a lot of old friends there. There is no ticket for entry, but you have chance to taste 21 different conventional Chinese pies (Yue Bing, one dollar ticket for each), and win some gifts by lucky-draw with the ticket you bought.
