The 2005 Chinese New Year is around the corner and the ZUAAGD executive board is pleased to announce that we will have Winter Annual Meeting (WAM) on Feb 12, 2005 (Saturday) at Taiwan Buffet (32153 John R Road, Madison Heights, MI 48071) to celebrate Chinese New Year and meet all friends.
The agenda for the meeting is:

Registration and social work 5:30 – 6:00
President’s open remark 6:00 – 6:15
Dinner & raffles 6:15 – 7:00
Keynote Speech 7:00 – 7:25
Award 7:25 – 7:30
Game 7:30 – 8:30
Karaoke 8:30 – open
The fee for the party is:
$15 for adult (age 12 above)
$10 for kids of age between 8 and 12
$7 for kids of age between 3 and 7
Free under age of 3

We need your help for the following items:
1. ZUAAGD logo contest
A logo is an organization’s signature. In order to give ZUAAGD a unique signature, the board is calling for a ZUAAGD logo contest. This is the perfect time for you to show your talent in art and creative thinking. The ZUAAGD logo should demonstrate who we are and include, but not limited to, the following:
· We are people who studied and/or worked at Zhejiang University
· We are living in or near great Detroit area
The design should contain logo with the description, which demonstrates your ideas. Please send your submissions to anyone listed in contact info of the section 1 by January 31, 2005. The winner will be announced and award will be given at winter annual meeting.
2. Nominee of ZUAAGD president’s award in the year of 2005
In order to recognize personal contribution and dedication to ZUAAGD, please nominate one candidate as the ZUAAGD president award recipient in the year of 2005. Whoever receives the most votes will be the winner, who will be given an award at ZUAAGD winter meeting. The current board members are excluded in the nomination.
